Bus Shelter
Incoming Missiles: Sderot
Last Friday night was no exception. The "Color Red" alert for incoming
missiles sounded once again in Sderot.
The children playing out in the streets and the adults taking a Sabbath stroll
went scrambling for cover. Luckily, there was an Operation Lifeshield Shelter
right nearby. After the people rushed inside, the rocket landed in a garden
just six feet away!! The shelter suffered exterior damage only and the people
inside were saved from death, injury and shock. The rocket left a crater in
the garden and collapsed an underground sewage line. The shrapnel ripped through
trees and steel railings as if it were going through butter. The metal fragments
gouged holes in the twelve inch thick walls of the shelter that were not deeper
than two inches. This also proves the high level of protection that the shelter
provides.
