A listserv is a communication tool that offers its members the opportunity to post suggestions or questions to a large number of people at the same time. When you submit a question or something that you want to share to the listserv, your submission is distributed to all of the other people on that list.

Woodmere is currently a moderated list with all messages going initially to the list editor.

Joining the listserv is easy--just click the text link Join the Listserv and follow instructions.

To send a message to all the people currently subscribed to the list, just send mail to WOODMERE@USCJ.ORG.

Uses for the listserv
• Notify members of simchas and sorrows.
• Notify members of service times and Torah readings.
• Notify members of events, concerts, etc.
• Remind members about changes in events.
• Answer ritual questions.
• Answer house, catering, or fundraising questions.
• Provide instructions for ritual performance.
